Daoyin Yangsheng Gong Shi Er Fa - The exercise with 12 sets
Dao Yin Yang Sheng Gong is based on the principles of Daoist medicine and consists of a system of exercises that are performed in 12 steps. The exercises are characterized by gentle twisting and stretching movements that focus on the Zang Fu organs, which include the heart and liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys, gallbladder, stomach, small and large intestines, and bladder. Movements stimulate important acupuncture points and the meridians wherby Yin and Yang, the five elements, Qi and blood are balanced . Although this form can also be practiced in sitting, this workshop teaches standing form. The movements are graceful and easy to learn and suitable for all ages. The form is effective in promoting health, nourishing the spirit and extending life expectancy.
